中國歷史上版圖最大的時期是哪個朝代？

中國古代的版圖是不斷變化的，無論是漢唐還是明清。那么在中國古代的版圖里，哪個朝代是最大的？

有的人說是漢代，尤其是武帝時期，對！漢代的疆域相對于秦朝是非常大的，經(jīng)過漢武帝的開疆拓土，到武帝末期疆土超過前朝秦朝一倍之多，版圖達(dá)到極盛，版圖面積：約600多萬平方公里。

漢武帝末年與昭宣之際，東北及西南邊版圖稍有減縮，至元帝初元三年棄珠崖即今海南島，這之后就再也沒有變動。

有的人說是唐代。唐朝版圖最大時期為唐高宗龍朔年間，當(dāng)時中亞的綠洲地帶受唐朝支配，其最大范圍南至羅伏州（今越南河靜）、北括玄闕州（今俄羅斯安加拉河流域）、西及安息州（今烏茲別克斯坦布哈拉）、東臨哥勿州（吉林通化）的遼闊疆域， 國土面積達(dá)1237萬平方公里，一說1076萬平方公里。武周時漠北陷落于后突厥，安史之亂后西域被吐蕃攻占，到晚唐時縮水至漢地，但仍保有河套地區(qū)。

有的說是清代。清代的版圖真的很大，甚至超過了巔峰時期的唐代。盛唐雖然在巔峰時期也將版圖擴(kuò)張至中亞以及整個蒙古高原，但唐代對于這些地區(qū)控制的時間并不長，特別對蒙古高原的統(tǒng)治也就僅僅維持了幾十年。而在安史之亂爆發(fā)后，唐代在西域諸鎮(zhèn)大多都被吐蕃攻陷了。所以唐代對于邊疆的控制并不穩(wěn)定，這一點(diǎn)遠(yuǎn)不及清代。帝國版圖面積達(dá)1300萬平方公里，比我們今天的960萬平方公里多出大約多1/3。
